Topless Review of 2015

The Topless Review was originally an attempt to keep a record of all the celebrity uncoverings that occur in Newspapers, Magazines, and on Television in the current year.  However in more recent years coverage of Newspapers has fallen away due to a combination of reduced awareness of anything of relevance and seemingly less instances of what used to be a fairly frequent event.  Magazines even more so. (So now the sections for those have been removed rather than having them always empty).

Therefore it is only now the Television section that retains any concerted effort to be as comprehensive as possible.

Symbols Used  (entries added since the last update will show the symbol in RED)
J definite topless shots with one or both breasts bare with nipple(s) visible. This includes nipple slips and see-through shots.
L technically topless but covered due to careful or fortuitous posing.
K a topless image that is a new one from a previously seen set or occasion (that I've not seen before).  Unless it is only very recently after the initial appearance.
N Images that may have been doctored by magazines or turn out to be fakes, etc.

The Musketeers (BBC1 - ep1:02/01/2015)           Series 2 (10 episodes)
J Olivia Llewellyn (Lucie De Foix) - rear nudity as she walks back into her chamber in a Spanish fortress and removes her nightdress ready to step into a bath unaware that the musketeer D'Artagnan (Luke Pasqualino) has meantime entered the room to conceal a knocked-out guard while infiltrating the fortress to rescue a prisoner - then she quickly covers herself with a towel when he makes his presence known.
 

Silent Witness (BBC1 - 12/01/2014)           series 18, story 2: Falling Angels, part 1 of 2
J Catherine Hamilton (Rosemary Stone) - briefly seen topless laying dead on a mortuary table as pathologist Dr Thomas Chamberlain (Richard Lintern) begins his postmortem examination assisted by Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) taking photographs - her neck is bloody.
 

Silent Witness (BBC1 - 27/01/2014)           series 18, story 4: Squaring The Circle, part 2 of 2
J Sydney Rae White (Amy Greenwood) - briefly seen topless laying dead on a mortuary table as pathologists Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) and Dr Thomas Chamberlain (Richard Lintern) attempt to discern her cause of death which seems baffling.
 

Olympus (Spike - starting 15/04/2015)        Series 1 (13 episodes)
American television series shown soon afterwards in the UK on Freeview Channel Spike - it is being listed here because of scenes involving British actresses.  It does not seem to be a series that allows topless nudity, but can show rear nudity

Episode 4 - Minos (06/05/2015)
J Natasha Burnett (Priestess of the Moon) - rear nudity standing before King Aegeus (Graham Shiels) as he unfastens her dress and it falls to the floor when the king's scheming wife Medea (Sonita Henry) uses mysticism to delay his plans to engage the enemy by employing false portents that she tells him can only be overcome by testing his virility with the priestess.
 

The C Word (BBC1 - 03/05/2015)                 one-off drama
J Sheridan Smith (Lisa Lynch) - a close up of her left breast is seen as her consultant draws guidance lines upon it ready for a surgical procedure of a skin sparing mastectomy - the camera then moves up to her face in a continuous shot • fully topless as she takes off her robe in a fake-tanning booth as she goes with her mother Jane (Haydn Gwynne) to have some confidence boosting beauty treatment in preparation for her brother's wedding - her left breast is nipple-less with a smooth prosthetic covering to simulate a surgically reconstructed breast following the lifesaving operation she has undergone - her right breast is unaltered - she is also made to look bald as a result of chemotherapy treatment.
 

The Game (BBC2 -ep:4:21/05/2015)                 6-part series
J Uncredited x 2 (Exotic Dancers) - there was a scene set in a night club with two exotic dancers, seen first in a dance cage, and then walking amongst the patrons holding feather fans - one girl is seen clearly topless close to, and the other from a distance only.
Although uncredited they were probably Katie Derry (main girl) and Jade Phipps (other girl).
 

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (BBC1 -31/05/2015)                 ep 3: The Education of a Magician
J Tetchena Bellange (Stephen's Mother) - topless below decks on a slave ship during a storm as she gives birth - seen as the malignant Gentleman (Marc Warren) casts a magic mirror spell allowing house servant Stephen (Ariyon Bakare) to witness the dramatic  manner of his birthing.
 

The Outcast (BBC1 - 12/07/2015)                 part 1 of 2
J Leanne Best (Jennie Lee) - briefly topless making love on her bed underneath inexperienced youth Lewis Aldridge (George MacKay) whom she took pity on and gave a freebie to after meeting him at the nightclub where she works as a hostess.
 

Life in Squares (BBC2 - 03/08/2015)                 part 2 of 3
J Phoebe Fox (Vanessa Bell) - seen briefly topless while dancing exuberantly with a man at a fancy dress party dressed as a wood nymph with her body and breasts painted green as she lets her dress slip to her waist with free-spirited gay abandon.
 

The Scandalous Lady W (BBC2 - 17/08/2015)                 one-off drama
J Natalie Dormer (Seymour, Lady Worsley) - A brief glimpse of her right nipple is seen as her husband Sir Richard Worsley (Shaun Evans) rushes into the bedroom full of ardour and pushes her down onto the bed after watching her undress through the keyhole which he asked her to do for him to spice up their 18th Century sex life • an out-of-focus glimpse of her right breast is seen while making love on her bed underneath George Bisset (Aneurin Barnard) whilst her husband Richard watches through the keyhole, continuing his predilection for offering his wife out to his friends so he can voyeuristically watch her having sex with them, something she is honour-bound to obey him on, although on this occasion she is actually enjoying it because George is more considerate than the others • a very brief partial glimpse of her left nipple is seen at the very bottom of the frame as she undresses in a bathhouse in full view of George who is looking in through the window perched on the shoulders of Richard, putting on a show for him while dumbfounded bathhouse woman Mary Marriott (Sandra Huggett) watches with disapproval at the shameless antics of rich folk.
 

Cradle To Grave (BBC2 - ep5:01/10/2015)                 8-part comedy series
J Julie Dray (Miss Blondel) - topless in a series on artistic B&W photographs of her that teenage schoolboy Danny Baker (Laurie Kynaston) sees on the table while helping her develop photos in the school dark room - scene is lit red by the darkroom light - later one of the photographs, which Danny craftily pocketed, is seen in normal light with fold crease lines as he looks at it at home.
 

From Darkness (BBC1 - ep1:04/10/2015)                 4-part series
J  Elina Alminas (Agota Calgys) - topless in her peepshow backroom as she takes off her robe when an indicator light comes on to tell her a punter is waiting - the nudity is seen marginally through a veil curtain - then brief topless glimpses seen as she dances while being watched through a viewing aperture by a man who has picked her out to be his next victim
 

Together (BBC3 - ep1:06/10/2015)                 6-part comedy series
J Cara Theobold (Ellen) - rear nudity as she discards her robe while standing naked on a podium posing for an art class and then feeling uncomfortable when she notices that one of the students is a guy called Tom (Jonny Sweet) who she met earlier and quite fancied - her face is not seen at the same time as any nudity and so seems almost certain to have been a body double.
 

The Last Kingdom (BBC2 - ep2:29/10/2015; ep3:05/11/2015; ep4:12/11/2015; ep8:10/12/2015 )   8-part series
(ep2) J Emily Cox (Brida) - a brief glimpse of her right breast is seen while making love on a bed underneath her companion Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon).
(ep3) J Emily Cox (Brida) - topless in a chapel annex as Uhtred opens her top and grasps and kisses her breasts - whilst nearby in the main chamber the investiture of Saxon king Alfred of Wessex is taking place.
(ep4) J Amy Wren (Mildrith) - briefly seen topless while bathing in a lake while pregnant.
(ep8) J Charlie Murphy (Queen Iseult) - rear nudity and the side of her left breast seen as she disrobes in a forest in front of her warrior saviour Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) giving herself to him so that her loathed gift of prophetic sight will be stripped from her with her virginity - later topless making love astride him on the ground - this latter part seen from a distance - no nipple nudity seen throughout.
 

Tripped (E4 - ep1:08/12/2015)                 4-part series
J Georgina Campbell (Katie) - the side of her left breast is briefly seen while she is making love in bed astride her husband Pete (Phillip Rhys) when Danny (Blake Harrison) walks in on them and is shocked to see his fiancée in bed with another man not yet realising he is in a parallel reality where they are not a couple - no nipple nudity.
