MAIN DETAIL PAGES
All the detail pages are presented in alphabetical Actress surname order.  They are displayed in the same central pane as these instructions.  There is one page for each letter of the alphabet.  To move directly to the top of a page click the corresponding A-Z letter on the above grid  ▲.   Additionally each page has a "Previous" and "Next" link at the top and bottom of the page.

Each entry is prefixed with a icon to give a visual indication of the type of entry it is.
■ Film Entry.  The year of release is shown in brackets.
♦ Television Entry.   The year of transmission and the channel are shown in brackets.
◙ Anything Else  (for instance a stage play)
? A query entry (which may be a film or TV)
☼ A miscellaneous snippet of info for the actress

NAME INDEX
Using the index on the left, click on the name you want to see and the correct page will be displayed and located on that actresses listing.  Use the alphabetical grid above the Name Index to locate to the start of that alphabetical section

TITLE INDEX
Use the index on the right to find the film or TV title required.  Underneath each title is a list of actresses who have an entry for that title.  Click on the actress name you want to view that actresses listing.  Use the alphabetical grid above the Title Iist to locate to the start of that alphabetical section

The indexed titles have a colour coding:-
• Films are shown in purple;
• TV Programmes are shown in blue;
• Anything else (for instance a stage play) is shown in green.

Alternate titles are listed with a red See link which will take you to the correct place on the title list to see that title's list of actresses.

CLICKABLE TITLES
In the Main Detail pane the titles for each actresses entry are clickable.  Clicking on a title will automatically reposition the Title Index (on the right) to that title's placing.  This will enable you to easily see if there are any other actresses mentioned for that same title elsewhere on the database. If so you can then click on that Actresses name to view her record in the Main Detail pane.

SEARCHING
There is no specific search facility. Instead use your browser's own search function for this (often Ctrl-F). To facilitate this, the Name and Title indexes are single files each containing their entire A-Z contents. So any search will have the whole index to look at.
